New York city approves $3.3 million ad blitz on plastic free advertisement

NEW YORK — A New York City advertising agency has approved $3 million in advertising for plastic free advertisements.

In addition to the advertising from the advertising agency for Plastic Free, the city also has a $3,000 advertising contract with a company that produces advertising for other brands.

The advertising agency will also be paid for its work.

The contract will cover advertising in the New York metropolitan area starting Jan. 1, 2020, and running through March 2019.

The agency will advertise for brands including Adidas, Nike, Coca-Cola, Target, Wal-Mart and Home Depot.
