Posted by Polygon Staff on April 19, 2018 10:02:37 The first beta of Facebook’s mobile app, now in beta, has been released, and it looks like Facebook is making progress with its plans for an Android version of the app.
According to a post on the Facebook page, the beta is still a work in progress, but it is “very close to being ready for everyone.”
Facebook said the beta app is available on both iOS and Android.
As a reminder, the Android version is limited to two games and one music app per user, but the iOS version is able to play up to 50 games and over 30 music apps per user.
That’s a pretty significant improvement over the iOS versions of the first Facebook mobile app released in 2018, which only had 20 games and 25 music apps.
The mobile app is also available on the web and in a few languages, including Spanish, German, and French.
Facebook’s desktop app has been updated recently, and the company has promised more updates to come.
We’ll update you with more information as we learn more.
